In addition to his well-known works 1984 and Animal Farm, George Orwell was a prolific author of both 
fiction and non-fiction works, and wrote numerous essays, columns and poetry on various topics ranging
from politics, law, travel and other topics.  His essays especially show a remarkably agile and
insightful mind, and it is a great shame that he died so young before being able to share more
of his wisdom and insights with the rest of us.
