Minecraft alpha skin problem

hay

i just updated my client to 1.7.3 and i found that my skin has changed i have no idea were the file is as ive looked in .minecraft file in side of appdata > roaming >.minecraft and ive found no .png file of the skin, the char.png one that is normally the skin is the normal skin. so nothings changed their but wheather im in singleplayer or multiplayer i get this horrible skin.. so i need a fix for this quickly.
i dont want any poor comments i need a resoult.
