Halo 3 Marine: Sergeant Ethan

Ethan is easily the strangest soldier in the marine corps. Ethan has been pronounced medically dead no fewer than 3 times. And he is still kicking. When asked, all his doctors have 2 words to say: "No Comment." There is suspicion that ONI is heavily involved. Some speculate he is actually one of the Project ORION test subjects. No one knows the truth. Except ONI.

Ethan was put in Fireteam Theta initially not to defend the facility, but actually as a pretext to make him available for Forerunner Medical Tech. research teams to examine. It is unknown if they found anything.

Ethan is bold and reckless, it comes from having no sense of consequence other than court-martial. He is famous among the marine corps (and potentially the Covenant) for his suicide line-breaking charges. He performed one such at the last battle of Omicron, when he charged at the last line of Covenant raiders, allowing the remaining marines to destroy their Phantom Dropship (the Covenant's retrieval ship).
