This started out as an attempt to create a Steampunk version of the default character skin, Steve (created by Mojang AB). However I got carried away and now only the top of his head and his hands remain untouched from the original skin. I was inspired to do this when I saw a Steampunk skin by OscarTaek in the 'Popular Skins' bar (Steampunk Robot by OscarTaek). I realised I had created absolutely no Steampunk styled skins at all, and decided to start by editing the simplest of skins possible: Steve.
The result is I think quite good for my first of its type, and I am thinking of making more in the future. Please post a comment if you have any praise, criticism or ideas for more skins!
