I have an irritating problem! I downloaded a skin online, renamed it to "char" and replaced the old char.png in the minecraft.jar/mob folder witht the new one but it doesn't want to change. In fact, the old Steve skin disappeared and now the in-game skin is a weired pig-sheep skin!
