This is my skin for the new skinning event, it is me irl.
This is me, in one of my fav T-shirts (Couldn't find a pic of it, sorry)
How I started skinning:
I found MineCraft about a year ago, been playing it a lot ever since but sometimes got bored.
Whenever i got bored i just went to play some random games or seomthing, but that got boring aswell!
So I saw this program called SkinEdit (Most used at the time) and i thaught, ''Well, that looks nice, im getting sick of Steve anyway so why don't i try this?''
After a few noobish skins, i went trying out some shading (Not very good though) the shading went pretty well, atleast i thaught but then i found this thing called: ''Skinning mentor program'', and i clicked it.
After reading the whole skinning mentor program, i thaught i would be fun to join so did, it took a few days till i got a reaction, but it was all worth it. The reaction i got was that Sneeze7 (The master of skins (And taco's!)) was going to tutor me!
So i added Sneeze on skype and we started of, first he taught me how to shade properly (Still using it now) and some other details, like muscles and such.
I now make good skins myself, because of Sneeze! (Atleast, I think they're good)
That's pretty much my story why i make skin now :D
My opinion about PMC:
I think PMC is about the best MineCraft related site, the people are (mostly) friendly and the moderators serious, yet funny!
You can easily navigate through the site aswell, unlike the Minecraft forums (Not hating).
The leveling up system is pretty cool too, it makes you feel more awesome whenever reaching higher levels, also the higher the level, the more classes you get, which means you can be what you want to be, but you will have to work for it, just like real life! The skins though... pretty disappointing, all those darn teen/creeper hoodie and elemental creeper skins are getting pretty friggin annoying X_X.
I also think that people sometimes check out skins but then forget giving diamonds.
My idea to make PMC a better place:
I really like idea's like these, motivating people for making skins and giving them inspiration, the skinning mentors program is really good too, it helped quite a lot of people to make better skins.
Don't have a lot to say anymore, this place is really nice :D
*One thing though, whenever you are in the chat and someone types something, you scroll up automatically, that should be gone!*
