The year is 2153, and a disease that many call a 'zombie' infection is spreading like wildfire across the globe. Mainly Eastern Europe and the US are affected, and others starting.
The United Nations respond by initializing a zombie ground containment unit.
The government labeled them the GCU's.
The suit's anatomy is made up of a
bullet-resistant glass visor, titanium steel armor plating,
side mounted night vision/thermal camera/communicator receiver,
chainmail kevlar mix under-suit and hidden inner-skeleton components
to speed the user's movement and up his/her durability.
The year, is now 2166.
The planet has been overtaken by mutants, and in a last resort to survive, humans have abandoned Earth to starve out the infected. Billions have been left behind to rot. Amethyst Survivor Units are specifically designed to fight space bound versions of the disease. The disease feeds on organic tissue, until there is nothing left to feed on but the bones.
Those infected are completely aware of what is going on. Becoming one of the infected is nothing but a living hell.
