Hey PMC,

This is my entry for the Apocalype Skin Contest!



I struggled to move. "Get out of that building!"

The whole building was falling apart. Tanks and bombs were going off as fast as a heart beat. Debriis flew all over the place. Chunks of the building were torn apart. I looked up. I heard a massive BANG! Suddenly, a huge mortar struck down into the building blowing everything up around it...including me. Blood and glass was shattered all over my uniform. I was pinned to the floor. I could not stand up. My bones were smashed like toothpicks and I couldn't move a muscle. I looked around again. Where was the rest of my team? I thought.

The building was still being bombarded. There was no sign of anyone in my team, only a couple of dead bodies. In the corner of my eye, I saw this massive black figure moving towards me. I tried to sprint backwards with my hands on the floor. I hurried backwards trying to get further and further away from the object. CLUNK! A boot had torn a big piece of flesh out of my stomach. A person with a gas mask was standing on me with all his weight. He tossed out a sleeping grenade and that was the last I saw of him.

Part 2

I woke up to the sight of a destroyed building. The building wasn't being bombarded anymore, instead we had lost. Our whole headquarters had been destroy. Crushed. Crumpled. All the scattered parts and remains of bodies lay on the gravel floor around me. I struggled to look up with all my might and get myself sitting up. No one was to be seen. There were no ambulances, no police cars and no fire trucks. This was the dead end of town. The air was still terrible. I was drowsy and finding it hard to breath. I looked to my left and I really shouldn't have. A person had been decapitated and lying next to him was a gask mask. I panicked and heavily breathed to reach the gas mask. I was about half a foor away! I pushed my arm out as far as it could go and grabbed the gas mask. I could here the loud clicking sound when my arm reached out. It must be broken, I thought. I squeezed the mask tightly around my face and stood up while I was in immense pain. The next block over there was still enemy warfare. I tried my best to avoid it and escaped the scene.
