Deep under the sea, past dark kelp forests and colorful coral fields, lay the unseen city of Submergia. Within the walls of the beautiful city lived mer-people and one of these fishy humans was a mer-maiden named Nerissa. She was a lovely mermaid with hair the color of milk chocolate and a tail the color of seaweed. Her eyes sparkled as pink as coral and her skin was flawless. She lived within the city walls, safe with all her other mer-people, from the dangers of the sea.
