One day while mining with his friends Steve found a pond of liquid bedrock as a joke his friends pushed him in so he would lose all of his stuff. Little did they realize that they were in hardcore mode. When they returned to there house expecting to find Steve they found everything as it was when they left. Back at the bedrock pool Steve had crawled out his eyes burned out and as the bedrock cooled and hardened Steve vowed to spend the rest of his days hunting down his friends and stopping them from mining by standing wherever they tried to dig
