My skin for the skin contest, it took about 1 hour to make.
BACKSTORY
There was once a boy called Jim, who's father was a pirate. Jim wanted to become a musician, but unfortunately his father made him become a pirate.
In his third voyage, his ship was attacked by another group of pirates, who captured all the crew, before sinking the ship. Jim found himself locked in a small cell, his hands in manacles.
Years of being a pirate had made Jim strong though. Slowly, over the next few days, he cut off his own hands, then broke out of his cell, and snuck through the ship to the captains quarters.
On the way, he found some hooks used for hanging up nets, so he broke them off the walls, and attached them to his wrists.
When he got to the captains quarters, he peered in through a hole in the door, and he was shocked. Before him was his father. He broke down the doors, leapt at him, and knocked him to the ground.
"Why would you attack and lock up your own son!" he shouted at his father, crouched over him. "Let me explain" pleaded his father, glancing desperately about. He tried to pull himself up, but he couldn't.
Jim looked down at his father. His father looked back up at him, then smiled. Jim was shocked for a second, suddenly, his father rolled to the side, knocking Jim towards the large windows in the captain's quarters. With one kick, his father pushed him through the glass, and into the sea.
Jim should have died that day, and technically he did, but as his flesh was eaten away by the fish, his skeleton came to life. He stood up, now under the sea, and smiled, as best as a skeleton could.
He then looked up, an saw the hull of a ship above him. Swimming upwards with difficulty, he reached the hull, then used his hook hands to scale the outside, wielding then like ice picks.
Once up, he snuck through the ship, tapping away a tune on his ribs in an absent minded sort of way. Smashing through the door of the captains quarters, he saw a man, not his father, standing before him.
This was not the right ship. Oh well. He killed the captain, threw him out of the window, then leapt back into the sea, and set off, walking along the seabed.
He has now become a myth, a legend , whatever you care to name him. He wanders through the sea, seeking boats and captains, playing tunes on his ribs. Captains across the seas grow fearful of the tuneful clacking, lest they be the next victim of Clatterbones.
One day, he will have his revenge...
