This is the first skin I've ever made. Ever. When I saw the contest, I thought to myself, "Hey, I'm alright at building, why not start making skins." That, of course, was the logical first step. But all that aside, lets talk about my skin.
My Skin (or almost)
Cyberpunk. What does that even mean? I started my research with looking at Wikipedia, the most reliable of all sources on the internet. There, I saw that cyberpunk style was set in the near future, an age where technology is essential for day to day life. I read something about invasive changes to the human body through technology. That caught my attention. So I chose that as a starting point. I then started thinking about the "punk" part, and immediately (as any VoxelBox member would do) thought of steampunk. It was decided then, my cyberpunk entry would have steampunk influence, but without changing the genre. The end.
My Skin (for reals dawg)
My skin is (hopefully) of a steampunk general that has had some *slight procedures* done to him to make him more "battle-ready." His arms and legs are fitted with with advanced mobility gadgets and gizmos that let give him... Advanced... Mobility. (Though for those who can't figure this out on their own, this is just pretend. This will not make you any better at Minecraft. Sorry.) On his head is a "special visor" that lets him have night vision (pretend) advanced auditory reception (also pretend) scoping vision (also also pretend) and also acts as a wonderful bullet shield (try this one out kids!). All this, of course, needs a power source, right? Wrong. Despite that, I gave him one anyway. All this is powered by... Green... Goo. How? Who cares. Why? Because it looks cool. And because science. Either way, you can tell he is a general because of his old man experienced nature of his hair and because of his glowing golden medals on his shoulder. Impressed yet? Well, if not, take a second to admire his glorious feet. Look at how they complement his figure. And enjoy

Fun fact, after looking at this in 3d, I think he needs pants. Somebody point that out in the comments so I actually do it. And make it an angry comment.
