Dr. Cornelius - Finalist

Dr. Cornelius was once a scientist, renowned throughout London for his machinery work. He built legs for soldiers who lost them in the war, arms for the armless, and other body parts for people who needed them to survive. He was famous throughout the known world, but things started going down hill when his wife got sick.

Dr. Cornelius was not a doctor, and didn't know why his wife was dying. He got all the doctors possible to find a cure, but to no avail. His wife had a failing heart. Dr. Cornelius tried, with all his skill and might, to make her a new heart, but did not finish it in time. She died.

Devastated, Dr. Cornelius kept on trying to find a cure for the dying heart. Having several patients die on him in operation- due to blood loss- Dr. Cornelius had a mental and emotional break down and decided to experiment on him self.

No one knows exactly how he turned into an evil, ruthless villain. Some amuse it was because of his breakdowns timed with the mechanical heart operations that caused it. Some go further to say the heart wasn't the only thing he changed suggest he tried altering his brain... but it can't be proven because all the doctors who preformed the operations were murdered... by Dr. Cornelius.

Dr. Cornelius then went on a doctor killing spree, killing doctors and scientists across London. He went missing several years later... and people wonder if he's still lurking in the shadows. Night has become a scary place in London, not even criminals dare to leave their homes.
