Dread Louse

The Dread Louse is a beast born from fear.
They created from the psychological energy made from a child's nightmare. The Dread Louse will stay close to it's place of birth, silently feeding on it's creator's terror. Growing larger, and more powerful as it feeds.
If the nightmares stop then the Louse has to find a new host soon, or it will burn itself out like a dying star. The Louse will keep feeding on hosts until it gains enough power to make them.
It will bite the host, its venom creating horrible nightmares that drive the host insane. It will lead the host away from its home, usually to a abandoned part of a city, it loves the secluded places. Once it has the host in the city, it will finally join with it's host. fuzing with him/her, becoming a full Dread Louse.
