External Hard Drive

After a near-fatal system error at Zenith Coo the most successful bio-engineering laboratory on Eartho the only way to save several decades' worth of data was to download it onto an external hard drive. The only drive available at the time was a prototype android called Suko. Suko was given the burden of storing every byte of data the laboratory had ever worked on. However, it became too much for the one robot to handle. Suko created an intelligent program that would allow him to store the data on a private server, relieving him of terrabytes of data. Sadly the program became too self-aware. It turned into a malicious data-vore, infecting thousands of computers worldwide and devouring their programs, files, and all other information. This virus led a council of world leaders to call for a global shutdown. Every computer on Earth was shut down, permanently, to negate the possibility of a machine uprising.

Suko knows it's all his fault. He now wanders the globe as the last functioning computero burdened with the knowledge that he was only supposed to be the External Hard Drive.
