After saving Niomie from her corrput father you go to the next floor and there Dane's Golem stands guarding the stairwell to the next floor. He wont move and so You and your friends are forced to fight this powerfull stone beast.
Dane's Golem in Old Heelion texts appears as a hero of sorts. It is said when evil is afoot the Golem will shoot down from the skies with a Diamond Axe and eliminate the Evil, Mortal or Beast But when Dane is corrupt it orders to kill anybody who enter the Tower of Dane
