Fehr'l was the Rulers personal map maker, but during the great war he was skinned by the X'Elecks.
To bring him back to 'life' the Ruler pierced Fehr'l's bone with his sword De'rurl banishing him to the Otherworld where he would walk for eternity still able to peform his duties.
