So anyone who is anybody involved with minecraft knows about the really cool Hieroglyphic Sandstone blocks that were released in the 1.2.4 update, but has anyone wondered what those symbols mean, or even whatever that creeper on the block must have looked like back in ancient times? Well now ito s back and has been reawakened after being mummified for over 10,000 years!This skin features, multiple distinct bandages wrapped around the legs, back, shoulders, and arms. If you have a trained 'skinners eye' focus in on the front sides of the Mummy's legs, and you should be able to see a slight pattern, shaped as two flames. These flames were painted onto the mummy, as part of an ancient ritual, to help ensure safety among the villagers in the afterlife from these destructive mobs.
According to legend if a village were to mummify a deceased creeper and paint flames on its bandaged legs, that when these mobs joined into the next world of the afterlife, they would be instantly set aflame and be burned into a non-existent state, thus protecting the ancestors of that village in the next world.
Because this mummy is over 10,000 years old these once vibrantly golden-orange painted flames are only now a mere faded shadow of what they once were.
