Incendia Silicis Aestus

Incendia Silicis Aestus was originally an angel. He had gained the highest rank possible, short of becoming a demigod. He became arrogant and selfish in his power. The other gods came to fear his power and banded together to banish him. They sealed him inside a rock and cast him into the heart of a volcano. There, he mutated and adapted to his surroundings, protected from the magma by his power, lashing out at everything, causing the volcano to frequently erupt. The mortals who lived in the area came to fear the being who was imprisoned within the volcano, and were forced to move their villages away from the erupting volcano. Incendia Silicis Aestus still harbours a deep seated hatred for all beings, especially the gods who imprisoned him.
