Kyogre

Long ago, as the planet was being created, Kyogre was born of the seas. With its great power, it rose the waters to create vast oceans. It is said that is once brought upon great rainstorms to a village suffering a year-long drought. After a long fight with Groudon, the creator of the continents, which was quelled by Rayquaza, Kyogre went into a deep sleep in an underwater trench.

It was awoken once by the evil Team Aqua, who wanted to raise the oceans more to create more space for the water Pokemon. But Kyogre became unpredictable, and created a great thunderstorm which threatened to tear apart the entire world. However, a young trainer named Ruby was able to capture and calm it, causing Team Aqua to abandon their dreams and forfeit their criminal activities.
