Dante was a normal person, like any other. But he had the misfortune of living in an age of anarchy. The steady yet subtle changes came slowly at first, but when people started noticing all that had been taken away, it was too late. The way in which communication was monitored became extreme, such to the point where there existed no privacy for users. This was among the things that caused the most discontent. No one was surprised by the following events; protests and strikes, most forms manifested. Yet the government would not listen. So people decided to make them listen. Riots were a kind of manifestation that were avoided at first, but began to appear, each one being more common, spreading like wildfire and each one being more violent than the one before. A sort of civil war had arose, and Dante got caught up in the middle. Most of his family attending protests, and home no longer seemed safe. Dante was forced to also attend, acompanying his siblings, taking care of one another. But one of the protests got out of hand and quickly became a riot, although the riot was short-lived as it became a shooting. Dante tried to get away, but as he crawled through the bullets and haze, a nearby car burst into flames, turning into a ticking time bomb. Dante quickly got up and began to ran but the car exploded, scattering metal and glass across the street. The explosion knocked Dante over, and as he was getting up, a scrap of metal tore through his jaw.
