Another skin! This time from Icewind Dale, another game built on the Infinity Engine used by Baldur's Gate. A mysterious mage.

Making Of
After a long break from skinning after finishing the 16x and 32x versions of Baldur's Craft, it was a bit of a challenge getting "back on the horse," so to speak. Both have their importance and place, and while I find texture-pack making a bit easier I think skinning is, hands-down, more challenging. While I made this entire skin by hand, I would like to acknowledge the skins and skinners I took inspiration from while making it.
- Pandaraze and her Dark Dwarf King: the general design of the Dark Dwarf King reminded me of this portrait in the first place, and I also modeled the front of my mage's hood and visible parts of the face after the Dark Dwarf King's.
- Pandaraze and her Bloodmage: another Pandaraze skin, I based the design of the cloak my mage is wearing off of the Bloodmage's.
- Miner_Man_12345 and his Ender Mage: As the front of the mage's robe is obscured in the portrait, I had to take some creative liberties. I felt the Ender Mage's design rather excellently implied a good robe shape over the torso and legs.
- LilFella and his Necromancer: I based the shading on the cloak of the Necromancer's cloak, which I felt gave a great impression of "billowyness."
