This Form of Metal Sonic made it's debut in Sonic Heroes where it transformed into Metal Madness then finally Metal overlord when it was infused with Chaos energy. Neo Metal Sonic was defeated by the "Sonic Heroes" but was Salvaged by Team Dark once he reverted back to Metal Sonic.
