Obserion-Mark I/Mark II

Obserion was created by a team of elite scientists. He was designed to study his enemies and predict their moves. In a time of war and revolution, a robot like Obserion was just what their military needed, especially when their main enemy was a seemingly all-powerful warlock bent on world domination. For nearly a year, Obserion learned and predicted the warlock's next moves, and likewise countered them. The warlock's forces of evil were soon defeated.

Obserion served his purpose and managed to vanquish the warlock, but the warlock dealt a striking blow to Obserion and corrupted his artificial intelligence. At the time, however, no one knew what exactly had transpired.

Obserion continued to serve his purpose throughout several more years of revolution and war, helping his masters defeat protests, revolutionary leaders, rogue scientists and inferior artificial intelligences, and so on and so forth. However, when a scientist and his AI blasted Obserion with radiation, the corruption was magnified, and Obserion's body began mirroring the corruption within him. His metal turned dark as charcoal. His eyes narrowed and turned red. His chest peace and External Energy Manufacturer (EEM) did the same.

When the scientists who created Obserion found out what had happened, they began using Obserion's design plans to create a duplicate, which they named Mark II. Mark II was designed, just as Obserion, Mark I, had been, to combat evil...Except Mark II was built specifically to combat Mark I. Mark II was, however, unable to do this, as both were created equally intelligent.
