Paperboy is a 1984 arcade game by Atari Games. The players take the role of a paperboy who delivers newspapers along a suburban street on his bicycle. This game was innovative for its theme and novel controls.

The most well know cover is probably the Nintendo NES one (the paperboy has white hairs, blue clothes, yellow cap) but I was inspired by the arcade version cover (red hairs, white / blue clothes, yellow / orange cap) as a reference image to make this skin cause the colors were more diverse.
In my young days, appart from my classic Gameboy and my awesome SNES, I had a several handheld electronics games like Double Dragon, X-Men ect.. and one of my favorite and hardest game was PaperBoy licenced out by Tiger Electronics.
Like all great games of yesteryear, Paperboy is simple, addictive, and challenging but this damn game really drove me crazy as a kid. It brings back nostalgic memories to remember how I loved riding down that suburban street and throwing papers through people's windows, at barking dogs, through the hearse, at death, into flowers, at old men.
