The Immortals, also known as "The Ten Thousand Immortals" were an elite unit of the Achaemenid Persian empire. They wore ornate purple robes over scale mail armor and a tiara whose design is lost to history, except that we know it included a scarf to cover their faces from desert winds if necessary. They aren't the creepy ninjas 300 made them out to be, but at the time their fancy robes would surprise and intimidate their enemies, despite perhaps looking goofy to us.| Description | Link | Type | Not mirrored because |
