Plant Mutation

My entry for the Apocalypse contest. I'm not very good at mutation skins, as this is my first try. Anyways, this is a plant mutation. These horrible things were made when scientists went against the laws of nature and melded man and plant.

Scientist Log:
Day 1: Specimen 429, species "Plant Human" was successfully created.
Day 5: Specimen 429 eyeing us suspiciously. Eats food provided.
Day 19: 429 turned on us, slaughtering the people who normally provided it's food.They were turned into similar monsters. Lockdown initiated and gas released to exterminate these monstrosities.

At this point, the Scientist was strangled and infected. The scientists foolishly released a gas that actually strengthened these creatures. They broke through the iron and infected everybody. That was the start of the rapid increase of plant mutations.

Most plant mutations stay stationary and attack when somebody is near but powerful plant mutations can move their roots through the ground. and prowl.
