Up in her building, Lyra looks people passing by. She puts her glasses on, and jumps off the building, opening her arms. Her little feet, covered in her metallic boots, land on a pole coming out of the building wall. She balances herself in the beam, like an equilibrist. Some people point their fingers at her, shouting: "There's a girl up there! She's going to fall!". But Lyra just closes her green and blue eyes, jumping from the baulk and leaving a rainbow-colored figure, that falls in a big thrash bucket, laughing. Her laugh echoes through the space between the building, where the thrash can were. Looking at the dark sky, she remembers of her parents. They were really serious, but she loved them. Her smile fades, and she can still hear her laugh echoing. She sighs and puts her hands in the bucket, jumping off the trash and lightly cleans her metallic clothes, resulting in a soft clash.
It wasn't easy living alone. She didn't finish her studies, but Lyra get money in her own little way... stealing. Her rainbow hair didn't help, but she doesn't care. Her parents died in a fire accident that happened in their house when she was twelve. Since there was no one in her family to take care of her, that's what happened. But she's happy that way. And nobody is going to change that. At least, she's not going to let anyone change that.
