Rebecca McClathe


She runs down the street looking for somewhere safe tonight so she could get some rest after days of staying awake. There was nowhere safe now though and she knew this.


The apocalypse had started 5 days before today and it looked like no one would live to tell the tale of it. Rebecca had faced many hardships during those 5 days and probably has many more to come but she doesn't think about the past nor the future. Her mind is only on the present and staying alive.


She had gotten shot in the back with a couple of arrows fired by a skeleton but, she had found some old bandages and clean water so she cleaned the wound (drinking some of the water in the process), bandanged it, and now there is just dried blood stained into her shirt and on her back. She hand been scratched with claws of an ocelot that turned from her loyal pet to her sworn enemy once it realized that it would lose if it stayed with the miners to the end. She also had a bleeding cut on both of her sholders which was running over a dried wound that had happened in the same place. She had discarded her shoes since they were getting in the way so she was now barefoot which, of course, led to raw feet and blood spattering up onto her ankle as she ran. There was a bad, dry wound on her waist also. It had taken 4 hours for Rebecca to fully recover before she fled her hiding spot knowing that she would soon be found anyway. Although shockingly, Rebecca had only run into zombies, skeletons, ocelots, and other mobs except for creepers. Her hands dry with blood from her advisaries, she pushed on down the streets.


Rebecca once had long, glossy brown hair reaching down to her waist but now, she was nearly bald and the hair remaining has dried blood from a sword skimming her head.Her black pants had been torn so, Rebbeca had torn the strips off so they wouldn't get in the way.


No one would lend her armor or weapons so she had only a makeshift sword make out of spare iron she found.


And then she heard a sizzling sound and tried to run away. Too late the creeper had already exploded and she now knew why there hadn't been any creepers before: they were the final wave before the world of miners died.


"I could've lasted a lot longer if I had proper armor and weapons," Rebecca thought as she passed away into the void.
