Sarris is the primary antagonist of the sci-fi comedy film "Galaxy Quest". Very little backstory is given, but it becomes quickly known during the film that his is a violent race of reptilian space pirates, among whom Sarris seems known to be particularly brutal. Sarris's hands are replaced mechanical by claws, and he begins wearing an eye patch early in the film, after the Thermian's fire on his ship during negotiations on Commander Taggart's orders.
