Wow, I almost forgot I had an account here :D

Anyways, wanted to ease myself back into making skins, so I decided to try something minimalistic (like the older Bill Rizer skin from Contra) - and what better way than picking an old NES character made with only 3 colors!

As the subject, I chose to create someone that has been constantly haunting in my memories - Simon Belmont from Castlevania II. A game I played as a kid, with no access to internet, no walkthrough, a friend who knew the game inside and out - no help at all. The music and the graphics were great, but the controls were terrible and I had no idea what I had to do. It wasn't until I watched Angry Video Game Nerd's episode on Castlevania before I realized that I had faced a truly impossible mission.

What a horrible night to be cursed by nostalgia.
