The MJLNIR MK5 is the pinnacle of human engineering. thanks to captured covenant technology the human race has been able to replicate shielding technology. only the genetically augmented SPARTAN II program candidates are able to use this armor. any un-augmented human would break their arm just by attempting a simple wave. the armor increases the Spartans strength, agility and reaction time by a factor of 5. it is also capable of housing a smart AI construct which would otherwise require a facility or starship to operate. the suits power supply allows for 15 years of continuous combat without the power needed for an AI construct. the only other variant of MJLNIR which only has reached a stage 2 is the SPI (semi powered infiltration armor) which all of the spartan 3 candidates used since alpha to omega divisions each consisting of 300 spartans each save omega which had 350. noble team is the only spartan 3 team that uses the MK 5 variant of the original MJLNIR armor.
