This is my entry for the Monster in the Closet Skin Contest! I know the idea of being half-enderman is WAY over used in the skins section of PMC, but my skin is different from these by not just having half the head and parts of the chest enderman-y. This skin reflects an actual skin that looks as though enderman-ness is slowly taking over different parts of its body. I also have a story to go along with it that is probably different enough from others to make it interesting.
So here goes:
The Ender Infection is a disease acquired when one looks directly into an Enderman's eyes.
At first, the person who has been subject to it's gaze will remain quite normal. Then they will quit talking. There is no warning. With each day that passes after being infected, this poor diseased soul's eyes will get darker and more purple. Soon they will have eyes to match an enderman's.
Then they will begin to change. The skin around their eyes, arms, and legs will turn pitch black, yet will never fully look like an enderman.
But they don't only change on the outside. They will become angry and ruthless, destroying everything that they think threatens them. They will forget who they really are. They will become true monsters.
The Ender Infected, as they are called, will soon head to dark, enclosed places to sleep until someone disturbs them. If someone does, the Infected will attack, leaving their victim infected as well. One of their favorite places to hide and sleep is, you guessed it, closets.
So check your closet now, make sure one isn't in a deep slumber there. And remember to watch out for those endermen.
