The Great, Red Gumball Machine

Hi everyone! This is my first upload to Planet Minecraft and I hope it looks good. I made it on SkinCraft (starting from a blank template) and saved it on MCSkinEdit to get the animation) for the Inanimate Object Skin Contest.

Here's my wall of text backstory too:

Steve had survived his harrowing first night in seed 1924960571 by hiding from badies in some nearby abandoned homes. In the morning, he began to craft tools and farm the long forgotten wheat beds of the ghost town, until he came across a peculiar raised bit of earth beneath one of the water canals.

"Well, that's odd. Half blocks of dirt don't exist." And yet there it was, defying the very laws of Minecraft with its presence. Steve crafted a shovel and with one swift scoop raised the half block. Underneath, was another surprise.

"A trap door!" he exclaimed.

He quickly blocked the water away, opened the door, and peered cautiously down. A long dark descent greeted his curious eyes. He packed his inventory in haste and set off down the passage's ladder. After what seemed like hours descending in the dark, he reached the bottom and placed a torch. He had reached bedrock, where the fog was thick and air was scarce, and in the torch's light, he noticed the walls were sparkling, flecked heavily with diamonds. And there, across the glowing cave sat a great, red machine, full of delicious gums from a bygone era. Grape, watermelon, banana, cherry, blue raspberry, and pink bubblegum lay waiting just inside its glass globe for someone to enjoy.

Steve crossed over to admire the strange contraption and on further inspection notice a slot in which something round, or really roundish, could be inserted.

"Oh," said Steve,"I got it!" He reached into to his inventory for his pickaxe and swiftly plucked a small diamond from the gleaming walls. He inserted the roundish gem into the slot and fiddled with the handle hoping something would happen. He was not disappointed. The great, red gumball machine rose to life with a great rumble and clack, honoring its namesake.

"You again?!" the machine growled, "When will you learn? Stop putting diamonds in my eye!" Steve couldn't believe his own eyes, or speak, or do much of anything. But before he could summon his reflexes, the great machine swooped Steve up and into its expanded mouth.

"Om nom nom, you all taste the same too! No matter. For disturbing my sleep, you too shall be gum foooooreverrr!" howled the great, red machine.
