The Seer (That is, "The one who Sees") is very peculiar. He has no fangs. No claws. No spikes or weapons nor even a simple mouth. The Seer is not an ordinary monster who lurks in the dark looking for those who he shall devour.... No, no... The Seer is much more than that.
Had you ever had a feeling you're being watched, although you're certain no one is around? You never could figure out who was watching? It's not a feeling. It's a message. From whom? The Seer, of course. He watches from somewhere. Where? No one knows. He could be here or there or anywhere. He's never exposed. Never discovered. He watches. He sees.
He is not aggressive. He does not kill... directly. Why is he such a fearful monster, or why is he even considered a monster? Because he is. He does not provoke emotions of fear or horror in those he targets. Instead, he ever so slowly drives them insane. Not a usual insanity in which the host goes raving mad. Not at all! No... The Seer gives a very peculiar insanity. One of the ability to see beyond. To see things no man could. To see the Seer.
Through months, years, centuries, the Seer watches his target. He studies his target. He learns his target from the inside out. He discovers things about the target even the being himself cannot. With this information he will send his messages. His energy, through the realms and to the host. Slowly, unbearingly, he will transform the target into what he wants... Into the insane man who will, one day, become the new Seer, setting the old soul free.
