THE SOCK MONSTER
We've all heard it before, when you pull single socks out of the dryer, it was some sort of dryer nymph that stole the socks. We all know that's just silly. If you only pull one sock out of the dryer, you only put one in.
But where does the other sock really go? Is it under your bed or the couch? Of course not. You already looked there.
Well your search for the truth ends here.
Using an intricate system of motion sensor cameras and several Rube Goldberg themed traps, and after accidentally catching my cat several times, I was able to catch this magnificent and curious beast.
This creature, which I have named "The Sock Monster" lives inside closets, and when the room inhabitant is sleeping, he creeps out to steal dirty socks. He wears at least some of them, and after some highly scientific experiments I have discovered it also likes to eat them, unravel them, and put on elaborate puppet shows with his hands and feet of Broadway musicals and Brat Pack movies from the 80s.
How many more of these creatures exist? We can only guess for now, as the research is only in it's infancy. But I have created a lovely skin of the creature to use on Minecraft if you wish!
