History
Trevor Belmont is the son of Gabriel and Marie Belmont. It was conceived before the events of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, in the year of our Lord 1046, during one of the many long stays Gabriel on behalf of the Brotherhood of Light to fight evil.
Pan and the elders of the Brotherhood believed that Gabriel was the one who once get ultimately destroy the Lords of Shadow and redeem humanity, but also foreshadowed dark events of the future: the world would be saved, but everyone would have to pay a heavy price.
Pan believed that there was a possibility that Gabriel himself became part of the world of darkness. Moreover, I had terrible visions, omens that culminated in a terrible fate for Marie and her newborn child. Therefore, persuaded Marie to keep secret the birth of their son Gabriel until it had completed its search. This act saved the baby from certain death. But Marie was not so lucky.
After the death of his wife, Gabriel continued to pursue the defeat of the Lords of Shadows unaware that she had a son. Unaware of his fate, Trevor was raised by the Brotherhood to become a warrior, as was his father, the secret of his birth and his lineage was kept secret until you reach adulthood. It proved to be a skilled warrior had inherited the great command to fight his father.
It also says that evil begets evil. The elders of the Brotherhood laid the final hope of redemption in Trevor, a way to strike a blow against the forces of evil at that time inhabited the ancient castle of Bernhard, an evil that came from their own ranks. So Trevor informed about his true lineage, the fate of his mother and the true identity of the murderer, her own father, after which he decided to leave for the castle in search of revenge.
Trevor Belmont aims to clean the stain of his name, to do justice to his mother and confront her father in a fight man to man. However, as in the case of his father before him, events conspire against him and the destination becomes involved in their life.
