Trilobite

It seems like I started work on this skin a million years ago...I finally decided to finish it. Trilobites are ancient sea creatures that now only exist (as far as we know...) as fossils. Their name means "3 lobes" which explains why this guy was shaded with hills and valleys. Trilobites are very cool. I went on a fossil dig and dug some tiny ones up by splitting open sedimentary rocks. (I also split my thumb in the process but that is a different story). It seems ironic that something we have to dig up can be digging something up in minecraft. If this guy is caught by baddies in the mine he can always press himself up against the wall and pretend to either be a fossil or some funky looking cobble.

I don't know what the insides of a trilobite look like but I thought it would be amusing to make the insides look like a green jelly - kind of like an armored jelly doughnut.
