this is the Egyptian god Anubis. he is the jackal headed god of death. he is the one who will weigh your heart. if you heart is heaver(more evil) then the feather of truth, you are fed to ammit the devourer and gone forever. if your heart is lighter then the feather you go to heaven. Anubis is said to appear at graves, funerals, and right before you will die.
