• She was worshipped s a Saint for over 1500 years and as a goddess before the Roman invasion of Britain and the birth of Jesus
  
• Her cult was so powerful that the Celtic CHristian Church and the Roman Catholic Church adopted her as a saint
  
• The name 'Britain' is derived from Brigit's name
