Corvo Attano - The Lord Protector

Corvo Attano. The Lord Protector of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin and a father-figure to Jessamine's only daughter, Emily Kaldwin. He is a Legend as he excels in both combat and stealth and has supernatural powers which were given to him by The Outsider in The Void.

He was sent out to search other islands by order of Empress Jessamine for a cure for the rat plague which was taking over Dunwall. Upon return, he met up with Emily and followed her to Jessamine to talk to her. He gave her a letter and later saved Jessamine from an assassination from an Assassin named Daud. The Assassins came back and killed Jessamine for good whilst kidnapping Emily. Jessamine tells Corvo to find and protect Emily and then passes away. The guards rush to Corvo, with the dead Empress in his hands and Emily gone. They then accuse him of killing both Emily and Jessamine and then let him rot in jail for six months until his beheading.

He then escapes with the help of a team called The Loyalists established by Farley Havelock, one of the Empresses Guards. Knowing of Corvo's innocence, he sends Samuel Beechworth to retrieve Corvo and bring him to The Hounds Pit Pub where he goes on many journeys.

On his final endeavor, Corvo is poisoned by his so-called allies, specifically Havelock, Pendleton and Martin. and is left to the group of assassins called "The Whalers" in The Flooded District, formerly known as The Rudshore Financial District. He then gets by the assassins and confronts their leader, the assassin who murdered Empress Jessamine Kaldwin. Corvo then deals with Daud and finds a key to escape the district. He soon arrives in the sewers of The Hounds Pit Pub, which is now guarded by Dunwall's security, and deals with it's guards while trying to reach Sokolov and Piero.

After reaching the two, he finds a whale oil tank and uses it to help them power the Arc Pylon which will deal with the guards according to Corvo's decision. He then finds Callista Curnow and takes the key from her. She has a note that tells of a signal flare that will alert Samuel on when to return to the island as he is in search of Corvo. Corvo then fires the signal flare and, after waiting a short while, Samuel soon returns to the island, awaiting Corvo.

He and Samuel then travel to The Lord Regent's light tower. Samuel then says his farewell to Corvo and leaves him to finish his duty. He soon confronts Farley Havelock and saves Emily Kaldwin once and for all, dubbing her Empress of The Empire of The Isles.
