Damien - Eld'ire Warrior

Sparks flew from the sword, as Damien clashed blades with his tutor and trainer Baelath.
As steel met steel, both men found themselves sweating immsensely. This training had drawn out for longer than both men had initially expected, and their energy was drawing thin.
This immense discipline had been a daily part of Damien's life since birth, and Baelath had been his unnofficial caretaker. His father was the local blacksmith, and as there was always an abundance of weapons, and certainly an abundance of Baelath, his father's childhood playmate, Damien had found himself caught in a ritualistic routine of battle.

Since Damien had become accustomed to a strict schedule since adolescense, the regimene had major influence on his body and mind. He was in peak physical condition, and his intillect was not at all inferior. Overall, Damien was a huge hit with the ladies.
But ladies were never the focus of his attention, as Damien had to keep his heart set on his studies. His childhood was not lacking in accompaniment, as he had many local children to spend his time with, but as a single-child who's life centered around his tutor and his training, Damien did not form close bonds.

When Damien was seventeen, his father was captured and killed by hghway bandits, when he was travelling between two kingdoms with a shipment of weaponry.
This supplied the thieves with equipment to revolt against the monasteries, and also supplied Damien with a sufficient reason to apply for Knighthood in his village.
Damien joined his brothers in arms to fight for his kingdom, his father, his tutor, and his fellow people of Eld'ire.

Basically, Eld'ire (pronounced El-Die-Air btw) is a level I'm currently working on in a game, sort of like Skyrim meets Assassins Creed, which accounts for 60% of my mark for my university course (Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment) It's looking bloody brilliant.
