In the beginning, there was nothing. Except the gods of course. So, in the beginning, there were the gods, and nothing. One day, the gods were chilling in the great nothing when one spoke up, and said,"Hey, this is totally lame! We should, like, make something!" All of the other gods agreed, and they got to work. So, just like that, poof, the world came into existence. Some took control of creating different elements, some different creatures, some different emotions for the creatures, but there was one oddball in the group, Deru.
Deru was sitting around, eating potato chips, watching everyone else work, and he realized, all of this monotone grey-ness is totally lame! So, he focused his mind, and spawned some magical paintbrush thing. He then began walking around, coloring everything in sight. Everything was going good, until he decided to color the other gods. They didn't want to be colored, they wanted to remain grey and boring, because they are totally lame. So, Deru was all like,"Well fine, you can remain all grey and crap, I'll just keep my color to myself! And just you wait, one day the creatures will come to appreciate color more than air, or water, or any of that!"
Several thousands of years past, and all of the gods were just doing their normal business. Deru sat in his workshop, painting random things and throwing them down to the creatures below. The creatures adapted to the color, and they began to no longer appreciate it, and this made Deru very unhappy. He screamed out in anger,"They don't appreciate my color, well fine! I will take it away!"
So, that is why there are only black and white movies from the 1950's and 60's. All color added to things from that time is because Deru decided that they looked ugly..... I guess.
Well, that is my totally lame backstory, I hope that it entertained you!
I would like to add that this is going to probably be my last skin for a little bit. I just simply do not enjoy making skins anymore, and I am never satisfied with my own work, so a little break is exactly what I need.
