Deuraun the Great Snake

Deuraun is the God of All Snakes. From his scales are born pythons, and from his poison are born Cobras. He is one of the most Ancient Gods, first worshiped by the Neanderthals.

ABILITIES:
He can call his snakes to him from 100 miles around. He can control the minds of snakes within 2 miles around. His venom is so acidic, that it can burn through steel. If a person is bitten, one of two things will happen to them. Either the poison will reject them and they will die painfully, or if their body is compatible, they will become part of his snake hive mind.
He has many consciences and sub-consciences, so he can focus on many things at once, perhaps fighting using a snake he controls while talking through his main body. He can also think very clearly about things, even while talking or fighting, making him an amazing fighter as he can assess his situation and surroundings without getting distracted from the fight.
He can sense underground tunnels and gems. His keen eyesight allows him to spot things that most people or animals would never see. His scales are slightly luminescent, and his eyes give off a green light, allowing him to see in the dark. If a person or other intelligent being looks straight into his eyes, he can sometimes control them for a short time.

Fun Fact:
Deus anguis is Latin for God Snake. That is where I derived Deuraun's name from.
