Here is a bit of backstory for the made up person Dr. Herman Aukstad.
Herman Aukstad is a norwegian scientist and an explorer, he was always facinated by the arctic lands.
He wanted to discover new animals and explore the caves. But he didn't have much money.
He did eventually get some money and set sail for the arctic.
But his adventure ended shortly after an accident with a storm were he got caught in the waves and drowned. That was a short and sad story.
