The Dwemer were an advanced Race of Elves that disappeared during the Battle of Red Mountain during the War of the 1st Council during Tamriels 1st Era. However they left behind many artifacts and Animaculi in the Ruins they once and still roam. the Dwemeri Armor found on Vvardenfell in the province of Morrowind, appears older and Rusted compared to the ones found in Skyrim and Hammerfell (Volenfell in the Dwemer language) However despite the armors old and rusted appearance it is still as strong as the day it was forged and is considered the 3rd toughest Armor in Tamriel being beaten by Daedric Armor and the newly introduced Dragonbone and Dragonscale Armor. it is highly sought after by Collectors. Scholars, Smugglers, and even Telvanni wizards and councilors. it was once thought that this Armor was the Outer casing for the centurion Robots that guard the Dwemers ruins however piles of Ash and Dwemer weapons and armor found in a Ruin beneath Mournhold suggest that it was indeed Armor used by the Dwemer in battle and puts the Outer casing theory to Rest. It is Heavy Armor just how the Dwemer liked it. The Armor isn't as Rare as one would like to believe though, despite the Ruins still holding many treasures such as weapons and items used in day to day life, the chances of stumbling upon this armor is high. A full set of Armor is worth a pretty penny to a merchant who is willing to pay high amounts of gold for it. but it is better to keep it for oneself.
