Birthed from the depths of the Black Galaxy, this sentient, celestial body roams through space. The antagonist of a number of Marvel comics, Ego has fought Thor, Galactus, the Fantastic Four and a whole slew of other heroes, villains and other unaffiliated beings.
As for the inspiration and how this fits into the contest, the first that that came into my mind was to do a planet and what or I should say who is more fitting than Ego who was created by a giant space bacteria being infused into his being.
