The Elite Desert Rangers are one of the most deadly branches the NCR has to offer. Elite Desert Rangers function in groups of four, and occasionally work with other groups when the need arises [see Expedition Log B-2-12/77]. Unlike the other Rangers in the NCR, the Elite Desert Rangers do not wear the trench coat, as it overheats/ weighs down the soldier. The only non-military people to see the Elite Desert Rangers in action are either dead, liars, or lucky. If the NCR needs to bring the hammer down hard, they call in the Elite Desert Rangers.
