Elite Endermen Knights have armor that is powered by crystals from The End.
It makes them stronger than ordinary knights, but when the crystal runs out of energy, they get reduced to normal strength. Furthermore, if the crystal is overcharged, it could cause the armor to overheat and damage the crystal receptor to be misshapen and make the armor useless.

The armor is only given to Endermen who have done many good deeds for the Enderdragon.
