A few notes:Well, this is it. I finally made a skin after a month of being lazy. This is my contest entry, the skin of a historical person: Emperor Dusan of Serbian Empire. I don't know if he's known outside of the region, but he was a very important figure for my country - under his rule it reached its peak. The skin might not be that accurate; limited sources were used, there aren't many reference pictures I could use, but I think it turned out alright.
Description:
Stephen Dusan IV (1308 - 1355) was the son of Stephen Uros III, the king of Serbia. He was a soldier in his youth and fought well in two important battles. However, his father missed the opportunity to expand the kingdom after the second battle in which the Bulgarian Empire was defeated. Therefore the nobles decided to depose of Stephen Uros and put Dusan into power. Dusan fought wars against Hungary and Byzantine Empire, acquiring massive territorial gains in the wars with the latter one, and proclaiming himself "Emperor of the Serbs and Greeks". Premature death prevented him from achieving his goal of replacing the Byzantine Empire with a stronger Serbo-Greek empire and standing off together against the Ottoman Turks, a rising threat in the region.
